  • April 25, 2018 Author Gin Phillips, On Writing
    5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

    Come share a meal together and meet Gin Phillips, the author of five novels. Her debut novel, The Well and the Mine, was the winner of the 2009 Barnes & Noble Discover Award. Since then her work has been sold in 29 countries. Her newest novel, Fierce Kingdom, was named a Best Book by The New York Times, NPR, Publishers’ Weekly, Amazon, and Kirkus. Gin (or Ginny) will talk about the writing process, how an idea becomes a book…and why reading fiction makes you a better human being. Reservations are required for the 5:30 dinner before the program, but not for the 6:00 program.

    Taize' Worship If your life is full, perhaps too full. If you are in a place of discernment in your life. If you are longing for a place just to pause and rest in God. Join us on Wednesday, May 2 at 6p.m. for Taize Worship. This contemplative service is very simple, and reaches deeply into one’s soul using prayer chants, scriptures read, silent meditation on the scripture and prayers.
